**Exciting Opportunity for a CVICU RN - Nights!**
Join a dynamic team in a 10-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, where your skills will shine! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse (CVICU RN) who thrives in a high-acuity environment.
**Key Details:**
- **Patient Population:**
- Immediate post-operative open heart recovery
- Diverse cases including pediatrics, PCI care, pacemakers, revascularizations, DVT, PE, sepsis, and more
- **Responsibilities:**
- Provide comprehensive care to hemodynamically stable and predictably unstable patients
- Deliver physical, emotional, spiritual, and cultural support to patients and families
- Operate advanced medical equipment:
- Central lines
- Chest tubes
- Nasogastric tubes
- Continuous bladder irrigation
- A-lines
- Multiple IVs
- Assist with short-term ventilation support as needed
- Direct care from admission through discharge
- Assess and implement established policies with minimal supervision
- Act as a clinical leader and preceptor to new staff
- **Requirements:**
- Education: High School Diploma and an accredited nursing degree
- Experience: Recent critical care and open heart recovery experience required
- Licensure/Certification:
- Current Montana RN Licensure
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- **Skills:**
- Proficient in operating advanced medical equipment
- Solid understanding of basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation
- Ability to use office equipment and multiple IV pumps
- **Work Schedule:**
- Night shift availability required
- Minimum 2 years of experience
