This role requires strong experience in cardiac nursing, particularly with advanced therapies. The nurse will be expected to manage patients with cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and heart failure. Responsibilities include caring for patients with cardiac arrhythmias and monitoring those on mechanical support devices. Nurses will conduct bedside central line insertions, chest tube insertions, and manage patients undergoing complex procedures. They will also participate in targeted temperature management and CRRT. A key requirement is the ability to float to various areas within the specialty as needed. Weekend and holiday shifts are required. The nurse will work in a dynamic environment with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care. This position involves close collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory services and pharmacy.
