Common diagnoses include cardiogenic shock, cardiac arrest, and heart failure. Manage patients with advanced therapies and mechanical support devices. Perform bedside procedures such as central line insertions and bronchoscopy. Monitor patients closely, including interpreting vital signs and lab results. Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary support teams. Participate in patient and family education as part of care. Ensure adherence to established protocols and safety guidelines. Respond effectively to emergencies and acute medical situations. Document patient care accurately in the electronic charting system. Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities. Rotate shifts regularly to meet unit staffing needs. Provide high-quality nursing care to adults and geriatric populations.
