Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Nurse (CVICU RN) – Montana

Start Date: July 2, 2026

Location: Great Falls, Montana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Full-time position in a 10-bed CVICU unit supporting expanding cardiac services with higher acuity patients

Highlights:
  • Specialized 10-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit with expanding cardiac services program
  • Immediate post-operative open heart recovery experience required
  • Work with advanced medical equipment including central lines, chest tubes, A-lines, and ventilatory support

  • Opportunity to serve as clinical leader and participate in staff precepting
  • Diverse patient population including cardiac surgical, medical-surgical, and progressive care patients
Requirements:
  • Current Montana RN Licensure (or ability to obtain)
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program
  • Recent open heart recovery and CVICU nursing experience required
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
  • Demonstrated competency in managing hemodynamically unstable patients
  • Proficiency with invasive monitoring, chest tubes, ventilatory support, and advanced cardiac equipment
  • Strong cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation skills
