You'll work alongside a collaborative team that includes two charge nurses and a rapid response nurse per shift, ensuring robust clinical support while caring for a diverse patient population ranging from post-operative cardiac surgery to complex medical cardiac conditions. Clinical Skills Utilized:
Arterial line management, blood product administration, CRRT/CVVHD, ventilator management, pulmonary artery catheter monitoring, IABP, Impella, LVAD/RVAD, ECMO, epicardial pacing, central line management, vasoactive drip titration, cardiac drip titration, post-cardiac surgery care, pre/post cardiac catheterization, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, procedural sedation, and care of the ventilated patient.
Patient Population:
Adult and geriatric patients with diagnoses including CABG, valve repair/replacement, aneurysm repair, aortic dissection repair, LVAD, heart transplant, lung transplant, thoracic surgery, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, heart failure, and arrhythmia management.
