Schedule: 12-hour shifts, alternating day and night rotation (0700-1930 and 1900-0730), every other weekend, some holidays, no call required

• 27-bed unit with private rooms, all ICU-capable, caring for CABG, valve repair/replacement, LVAD, transplant, and thoracic surgery patients
• Epic charting system with 24 hours of orientation provided
• Magnet-designated teaching facility ranked as a top hospital in Wisconsin and nationally recognized referral center
• Travel nursing assignment requiring successful completion of telemetry competency examination prior to start

Requirements:

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state license
• Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience within the last 3 years in specialty area
• CVICU experience required
• Experience and knowledge of NxStage CVVH machine required
• Experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery and/or Acuity Adaptable area preferred
• Trauma Level I experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Must successfully pass telemetry competency exam with strict passing criteria (80% overall, 100% on lethal rhythms)
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
