Description: Evening/Night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. Every other weekend rotation and some holidays. No call required. Experience in a Cardiothoracic Surgery or Acuity Adaptable area preferred. Previous charge experience preferred. Patient ratios typically 1-2, may go up to 3 if acuity is low. Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, and Pharmacy. Specialized care for post-cardiac surgery patients, heart and lung transplants, and various medical devices. Dynamic unit requiring staff to adapt to changing patient needs and acuity levels. Care is delivered with technological expertise and commitment to meeting patient and family needs.
