Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)

• Provide specialized care for cardiovascular ICU patients
• Assist in open-heart recovery processes
• Capable of floating to stepdown/progressive care units as needed
• Utilize EPIC charting and Pyxis equipment effectively

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU)

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cardiovascular ICU setting
• Current Indiana or compact RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (AHA only)
• Preferred experience in Level 1 or Level 2 facilities, travel nursing, and open-heart recovery
