Join Our Dynamic Cardiac Medical ICU Team: RN Night Shift Opportunity!** **Job Description:** - **Facility**: Mercy Hospital South - **Location**: 10010 Kennerly Rd, St. Louis, MO 63128 - **Role**: Registered Nurse (RN) - **Specialty**: Cardiac Medical ICU - **Shift**: Nights, 1900-0730 - **Assignment Length**: 13 weeks - **Guaranteed Hours**: Choose between 36 or 48 hours per week - **Weekend Requirement**: As needed, typically every other weekend - **Call Requirements**: None **Position Requirements:** - **Licensure**: Current RN License in the state of Missouri - **Certifications**: - BLS and ACLS from AHA only - NIHSS required - Preferred: TNCC - **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years in Cardiac and/or Medical ICU, CVI experience with recovering open hearts directly from the OR - **Skills**: - Strong cardiac emphasis (arrhythmias, STEMI, post-arrest) - Experience with medical ICU patients - **Patient Demographics**: Caring for patients with sepsis, respiratory issues (e.g., pneumonia, COVID, ARDS), post-cardiac arrest, GI bleeds, DKA, PE, renal/liver failure, pancreatitis, overdoses, suicidal ideations, CIWA **Unit Information:** - **Beds**: 22 - **Patient Ratios**: 1:2 - **Equipment**: Impella, IABP, Prismax CRRT, Zoll internal cooling device, Arctic Sun - **EMR**: EPIC **Dress Code:** - **Scrub Color**: Black - **Unacceptable Attire**: Anything outside of the specified color, hats, non-Mercy jackets/sweatshirts, AirPods **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
