Description:
Join a community hospital and regional referral center.
We are a Joint Commission Accredited facility with 171 beds.
We are a Certified Chest Pain Center with Level III Trauma capabilities.
The unit consists of 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2.
You will encounter a diverse patient population including adults and geriatrics.
Common diagnoses include STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, and sepsis.
You will manage cases such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, and acute respiratory failure.
Experience with A. Fib RVR, ETOH withdrawal, head injuries, and stroke is also beneficial.
The role involves utilizing equipment such as Baxter pumps.
The electronic health record system used is Medhost.
Weekend hours may be required, along with call responsibilities.
Additional floating to intermediate care units and ED holding may be required on an as-needed basis.
