Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel- Provide direct primary recovery for fresh cardiac surgery patients
- Manage patient ratios of 1:1 immediately post-surgical, 1:2 POD 1-3
- Utilize Meditech Expanse documentation system effectively
- Participate in a new cardiac surgery program launch
- Float to other units as required, maintaining designated ratios
Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel- 1-2 years of experience with fresh cardiac surgery patients
- ACLS certification
- Experience with balloon pump, impella, hemosphere, or acumen
