Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night and Day Shifts Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 18 months of combined permanent experience in the specialty applying for. License: Permanent Ohio license or a compact state license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 18 months of recent CVICU experience. - Experience can include travel nursing. - Required certifications must be active with no pending issues. - Two references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for. Description: This position requires a registered nurse specializing in cardiovascular intensive care. The nurse will be working 3x12 hour shifts, rotating between days and nights. Shifts may vary based on operational needs, though preferences will be considered. An acceptable score on the ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate is required during orientation. The nurse must work every other holiday during the contract. All travelers must comply with nicotine-free requirements unless they qualify for specific exemptions. Additional modules may be required prior to starting, and annual modules will also be necessary as part of ongoing education. Candidates must complete necessary background checks, and any issues will be reviewed before acceptance.
