Description: Position involves working in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. The role requires providing high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients. Nurses must work nights from 7 PM to 7:30 AM. Travelers must work at least every other holiday. Traveler will undergo assessments during orientation, including an ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate. An acceptable score on both assessments is mandatory. Travelers will have a maximum of two attempts to pass the assessments. Background checks will be reviewed, and candidates with open cases will not be accepted. Facility does not accept any license infractions. For those who are not nurses or CSTs, a nicotine-free requirement is mandatory. Candidates must complete a negative drug screening within 12 months prior to starting. Nurses must remain in compliance with annual education and competency requirements. Modules required can vary in length and time may not be compensated. Successful completion of all requirements will ensure continued employment in the facility.
