# Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular ICU Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: 36 hours per week, rotating days and nights. Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period (Saturday/Sunday for day shift, Friday/Saturday for night shift). Rotating holidays. Minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule block required.
Highlights:
- Patient ratios of 1:1 to 1:2 in a 30-bed Cardiovascular ICU
- Complex cardiac patient population including CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, heart and lung transplants, VAD implantation, and ECMO
- Epic charting system utilized across the facility
- Orientation period of 36 hours provided
- Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including pharmacy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and more
- Float required within units of equivalent or lower acuity, not more than once every 4 weeks
Requirements:
- Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- 2 years of Cardiac ICU experience preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in IV starts, telemetry, ventilator management, Swan-Ganz catheters, conscious sedation, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and pulmonary artery lines
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- 2 professional references required (at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role)
- Completion of Ohio fingerprinting process required promptly upon contract signing
