This is a fast-paced unit caring for complex cardiac and pulmonary patients, including heart and lung transplants, LVAD patients, and post ACB/valve surgery patients. RNs will manage titratable drips, including all vasoactive drips for cardiac patients, and should be comfortable working with devices such as LVAD, CRRT/SLED, Impella, and IABP.

Job Description:
We're seeking experienced ICU RNs for a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit opportunity at a busy, high-acuity Level 1 Trauma facility in Houston, TX. This is a fast-paced unit caring for complex cardiac and pulmonary patients, including heart and lung transplants, LVAD patients, and post ACB/valve surgery patients.

Nurse-to-patient ratios are 1:2, occasionally 1:1. RNs will manage titratable drips, including all vasoactive drips for cardiac patients, and should be comfortable working with devices such as LVAD, CRRT/SLED, Impella, and IABP. CRRT experience is preferred but training is available. Hardwire monitoring is used on this unit.
