Seven Healthcare are seeking an RN specializing in CVICU for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role requires a nurse with experience in pediatric cardiac care, capable of managing complex care scenarios independently. Successful candidates will have expertise with chest tubes, pacing wires, ventilators, and vasoactive infusions, and will work in a dynamic clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - CVICU - Travel- Provide nursing care using the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
- Administer medications and treatments, monitor side effects and treatment effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers
- Meet OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders, depending on your level of practice
Requirements of the RN - CVICU - Travel- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
- 2 years of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required (AHA only)
- RN License in the state of TX or compact
