TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37203!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT Description: This is an opportunity for a Registered Nurse specializing in CVICU. The unit consists of 16 beds with a patient ratio of 1:2, and 1:1 for certain device patients. There is a free floating charge nurse available to assist staff. Unit secretaries and Administrative Care Techs work Monday through Friday. Student Nurse Externs are available on variable shifts to assist nurses with tech duties. Type of equipment includes bedside telemetry monitors, specialized beds, and IV pumps. The documentation system used is Meditech. Scheduling requires 2 weekends per month, and holiday coverage for summer and winter holidays. Employees may float to other ICUs or floors as needed. There are no specific patient experience requirements. Intensivists are assigned to the unit 24/7. This unit has received awards such as the Unit of Distinction and Daisy Award. The team is composed of skilled nurses dedicated to excellent teamwork. The unit specializes in post-operative cardiac surgery care and advanced devices.
