Travel Nurse RN - Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - $2,131 to $2,367 per week in Minneapolis, MN

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular ICU setting at a Magnet-designated, Level III Trauma teaching facility with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Perform PA catheter interpretation and analysis and manage hemodynamic monitoring
• Operate and monitor advanced mechanical support devices including LVAD/RVAD, Impella, and IABP
• Manage patients on ventilators, CRRT (Prismaflex/PRISMA Flex), targeted temperature management, and temporary pacemakers
• Utilize Endotool for glucose monitoring and assist with bedside trachs and PEGs
• Float within the ICU community as needed, including Med/Surg ICU and Neuro ICU

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Minnesota license in hand preferred; pending licensure may be considered)
• Minimum 2 years of CVICU experience required
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Proficiency with PA catheter interpretation and analysis
• Experience with LVAD/RVAD, Impella, and IABP required
• Epic/Excellian charting experience required
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Open heart recovery experience directly from the OR strongly preferred
• CRRT with Prismaflex and ECMO experience preferred
• Familiarity with Heart Mate 2 & 3, Centra Mag, and Balloon Pump
• Experience with targeted temperature management and temporary pacemakers
