Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Monitor and manage critically ill cardiovascular patients throughout night shift hours
Float to like units within scope of practice as needed based on facility needs, following brief unit orientation
Complete required onsite orientation modules prior to beginning clinical duties
Maintain compliance with all facility credentialing and documentation requirements
Required Qualifications
Active RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state (pending NM/Compact license accepted; must be obtained prior to start)
BLS certification required
ACLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
Previous staff must wait a minimum of 1 year before returning to this facility as a traveler
Preferred Experience / Skills
Minimum 2 years of CVICU or critical care nursing experience
Previous travel nursing experience preferred
