Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment, where your skills will support critical cardiovascular cases. Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU- Provide advanced care and management of cardiovascular patients using CVICU devices
- Perform hemodynamic monitoring including swans and art lines
- Manage ventilators and apply strong critical thinking skills
- Engage in post-operative care for Post CABG, VAD, and Cath with support devices
- Collaboratively float across units as per guidelines, if needed
Requirements of the Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU- Active TX RN License
- ACLS and BLS certification
- NIH Stroke certification
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
- Proficiency in Meditech charting is preferred
- IABP and CRRT exposure is an asset
