Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Kansas or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Prior experience in a CVICU or CTICU environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiovascular surgical patients and post-operative cardiac care
• Familiarity with hemodynamic monitoring and management of vasoactive drips
• CCRN or other relevant critical care certification
