```htmlJob Opportunity – Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) RN – South Carolina

Start Date: October 2026

Location: Columbia, South Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week with every other weekend coverage. Patient ratio of 1:2. Daily census of approximately 10 patients in a 12-bed unit.

Highlights:

  • Work with a diverse patient population including post-sternotomy patients undergoing coronary artery bypass grafting, valve repair, and aortic dissection
  • Gain experience with advanced cardiac devices including CRRT, ECMO, IABP, Impella, Centrimag, VAD, and PA catheters
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
  • Epic EMR system; 48 hours of paid orientation provided
  • Pre-assignment modules reimbursable up to 16 hours
  • Scrub color: Green or choice of scrubs

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required
  • Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS
  • Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Flu vaccination required (no exemptions)
  • Must reside a minimum distance from facility per travel nurse eligibility requirements
