Description:
The unit consists of 8 beds.
The patient ratio is 1:1 to 1:3.
Patient population includes post-surgical management for cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, thoracotomies, and TAVRs.
Post complex PCI interventions are also managed.
Procedures include post-open heart, post-cardiac procedures, surgical interventions, central line placements, arterial line placements, and chest tube placements.
Familiarity with Edwards monitoring, GE monitoring, and SWAN Ganz catheters is required.
