# Job Opportunity – CVICU Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: June 26, 2026
Location: Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12.5-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, rotating weekends, 36 guaranteed hours per week

Highlights:

• Cardiovascular ICU specializing in post-surgical cardiac care including CABG, VAD, and cardiac catheterization procedures
• Work with advanced cardiac support devices including IABP, Impella, and ECMO
• 13 or 26-week assignment available at a renowned facility with 50+ years of excellence in patient care
• Experience with hemodynamic monitoring (Swan-Ganz catheters, arterial lines) and ventilator management
• Meditech electronic medical record system
• No call requirements

Requirements:

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications
• Strong experience with hemodynamic monitoring including Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines
• Demonstrated competency in ventilator management
• Excellent critical thinking skills
• Training and experience with CVICU devices to support cardiovascular cases
• Preferred: Experience with IABP, CRRT, and Meditech charting/order entry
