- **Type:** ICU Stepdown (637)
- **Location:** Englewood, CO
- **Number of Beds:** 20
- **Total Staff:** 40
- **Staff Composition:** RNs and PCTs
- **Day Shift:** 1 Charge RN, 5 Nurses, 3 PCTs
- **Night Shift:** 1 Charge RN, 5 Nurses, 2 PCTs
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:4
- **Equipment Used:** Tele, Transport monitors, suction, feeding pumps, trachs, bipap, cpap, heated high flow, chest tubes, foleys, pacer wires/pacers, IV pumps, SCD pumps
- **EMR System:** Meditech
- **Typical Hiring Profile:**
- **Relevant Skills:**
- Minimum 1-year current PCU experience (mandatory)
- BLS, ACLS & NIH certifications (mandatory)
- Extensive Neuro Experience (preferred)
- PCU and cardiac experience (preferred)
- **Common Procedures:**
- Chest tube placement and removal
- Pacer wire removal
- 12 lead EKGs
- Infusion of Drips: Heparin, Tikosin, Diltiazem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Lasix, Ketamine
