Job Title: Clinical Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a critical care ICU setting required. License: Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state. Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification required. Must-Have: - Nursing Diploma OR ADN or ASN from an accredited school of Nursing. Description: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards. Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director. Responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting. Participates in identifying and meeting the learning needs of self. Attends education programs based on identified learning needs. Assesses readiness to learn of the patient, family, or caregivers. Assesses developmental level of patient and factors affecting ability to learn. Identifies expected patient outcomes. Seeks guidance as needed in the revision of the plan of care. Participates in discussions with members of the interdisciplinary team in evaluation of patient care. Communicates relevant information to promote continuity of care.
