Exciting Opportunity for Travel RN - CVICU/ICU!** **Job Description:** - Location: North Charleston, SC - Unit: 65020 ICU - Schedule: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 3 - 12 hour shifts per week - Work Every Other Weekend and Holidays **Unit Specifics:** - Number of Beds: 28 - Mixed ICU - Patient Ratios: 1:2, 1:3 (Holding inpatient PCU/med surg admissions) - Advanced Equipment: i-Mobile phones for each care team member, Mobile computer workstation on wheels - Documentation System: Meditech - Floating Policy: Travelers are the first to float and may be sent to the emergency department or PCU **Patient Care Requirements:** - Perform bedside shift reports for patient handoff - Care for up to 1-3 ICU patients, including those on ventilators - Proficient in reading telemetry strips **Qualifications:** - 36 months RN experience, with at least 1 year in ICU - Previous travel nursing experience in a Meditech facility preferred - Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale - Preferred: BSN, Advanced Certifications, TNCC Certification **Advanced Skills:** - CRRT, Advanced Hemodynamics, Phlebotomy - Administer respiratory treatments outside of the ICU - Experience with post-op CABG, impellas, balloon pumps, Swan Ganz - Neuro procedures for aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, EVDs, bolts (Codman), and Artic Sun for induced hypothermia **Additional Information:** - Opportunity to train in Neuro ICU and Cardiovascular ICU nursing - Engage in specialized patient care, including head and neck flap procedures with one of the 14 programs in the nation **Dress Code:** - Required Uniform: Navy uniform **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
