Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular - Travel - (Cardio - CVICU RN)

Pay Rate: $1883.00 - $1980.00
Travel CVICU Nurse assignments let you deliver specialized care to critically ill cardiac patients recovering from complex heart procedures or acute cardiovascular events. As a travel CVICU nurse, you will monitor cardiac rhythms, titrate vasoactive medications, manage advanced cardiac devices, and respond rapidly to changes in patient condition.
You must have an active registered nurse (RN) license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications. Most facilities require at least 1-2 years of recent intensive care unit (ICU) experience, preferably with cardiac or post-operative patients. Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and strong assessment skills are valuable. The Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification is often recommended.
The facility may be a high-acuity hospital or a specialized cardiac center, offering exposure to advanced technology and multidisciplinary teams. Recommended skills include critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
