Description:
Unit has 16 beds with patient ratios of 1:2 and 1:1 for certain device patients.
Free floating charge nurse is available to assist staff.
Unit secretary and administrative care tech available Monday through Friday during operating hours.
Student Nurse Externs assist nurses by performing tech duties on variable shifts.
Equipped with Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps.
Documentation is managed through a recognized system.
Scheduling requires working 2 weekends per month and 3 holidays during the summer and winter seasons.
Employees float as needed, typically to other intensive care units, but may include other floors.
