Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
• Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio, delivering high-acuity critical care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, applying critical care nursing protocols

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Must not reside in the following counties to be eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, or Morris
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 2 years of CVICU or critical care nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
