Are you a passionate and experienced RN looking for an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced CVICU environment? We're seeking dedicated professionals to fill crucial roles in our state-of-the-art facility!
- Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Unit: CICU
- Location: Asheville, NC
- Number of Beds: 16
- Patient Ratios: 2/1 or 1/1 (occasionally 3/1 depending on acuity)
- Staffing: RNs only (No HUC or PCT)
- Equipment: Vent, Telemetry, Baxter IV Pump, IABP, CRRT, Impella, Hypothermia
- Documentation System: Cerner
- Requirements: 36 hours/week, alternating weekends, 12-hour shifts
- Floating Policy: Travelers float to all areas
- Experience: ICU experience required
Desired Skill Set:
- Titration of Vesicant Meds
- Familiarity with Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics
- Experience with Vents and Trachs
- Telemetry Interpretation
- Understanding of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter Setup
- Transvenous Pacing and Cardioversion
- TEE, Chest Tube Insertions, and Maintenance
Procedures Performed on Unit:
- Cardioversion
- Central Line Insertion
- EGD
- Bronchoscopy
- Chest Tube Insertions
- Pericardiocentesis
- Thoracentesis
