Medical Surgical Cardiac Floor RN in Marquette, Michigan. This position involves providing direct patient care in a specialty cardiac unit within a 225-bed hospital. The role supports adult and geriatric patients with a focus on cardiac health, offering an excellent opportunity to work in a regional premier healthcare facility.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid Michigan State License, ACLS certification, 0 years of experience required, candidates must be at least 60 miles or more from the facility, and BSN preferred
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience on a medical/surgical unit, strong critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision, capable of managing a stressful environment
• Additional Information:
  • Unit capacity: 225 beds with adult and geriatric patient population (ages 18-125)
  • Patient ratios: 5:1 to 6:1
  • Equipment includes telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pump, bladder scanner, Dynamaps
  • Electronic Health Record system utilized: Cerner
  • Dress code: Galaxy Blue scrubs (navy acceptable), professional appearance required, tattoos must be covered, jewelry minimal, nails clean and short
  • Orientation occurs bi-weekly
  • Float: Occasional to like unit
