We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Registered Nurse (RN) to join a hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. The ideal candidate will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing a wide range of cardiac conditions and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dedicated clinical team committed to outstanding cardiovascular outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret continuous cardiac telemetry and 12-lead ECGs
- Administer and titrate cardiac medications including antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, and vasoactive drips
- Assess and document changes in patient hemodynamic status and notify providers of critical findings
- Provide pre- and post-procedural care for patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, cardioversion, and pacemaker insertion
- Educate patients and families on cardiac diagnoses, medications, and lifestyle modifications
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including cardiologists, cardiac rehabilitation staff, and case managers
- Respond to rapid deterioration events and participate in code response on the unit
Pay
Salary range: $60,000 to $90,000 per year.
