Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiology for a travel nursing job in Lawrenceville, Georgia.
Job Summary (in list format):
- Position: RN, Cardiac ICU (2C Cardiac Care ICU)
- Location: No local candidates within 50 miles
- Schedule: Varies, 7AM–7PM shifts
- Unit: 20-bed highly specialized cardiovascular unit
- Patient Population: Post open heart, vascular, and thoracic surgery patients
- Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac ICU experience
- Certifications Required:
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- Preferred Certifications:
- CCRN
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Special Equipment Used:
- Intra-aortic balloon pumps
- Impella devices
- CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)
- Epicardial pacemakers
- Holiday Requirements:
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day
- Must work 1 minor holiday: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve
- Compliance:
- Compliance documents due Wednesday before start date
- Badge photo required before start

- Recent specialty experience is mandatory
- Must adhere to hospital compliance and scheduling requirements
