Med Ninjas is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiology for a travel nursing job in Augusta, Georgia.
Job Summary (List Format):
- Minimum Experience: 1 year (first-time travelers accepted)
- Patient Population: Adults to geriatrics
- Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
- Clinical Skills Required: Care for post-MI, heart failure, arrhythmias, chest pain, peripheral vascular disease; peritoneal dialysis; telemetry, EKG, Doppler
- Unit Details:
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:5
- 16 beds, average daily census 16
- Systems Used: Epic (required), Pyxis, SBAR
- Scrub Color: Navy blue
- Schedule:
- Maximum 7 days of requested time off (RTO)
- RTO blackout during Spring Break (April 4th-12th)
- 6 weekend shifts required per 6-week schedule
- Floating within facility/scope as needed
- No on-call requirements
- Holiday coverage required based on number of holidays in assignment period
- Compliance: Full compliance required before start; non-compliance delays start by 2 weeks
- Orientation: Number of non-billable orientation hours based on contract length
- Screening: Clinical screen required for fit; final decision by manager
- Locals Accepted: Yes, at same rate
