TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified Cardiac Tele RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Opportunity – Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 3x12 night shifts, 1845-0715 (36 hours weekly)

Highlights:
  • Cardiac telemetry unit with comprehensive patient case mix including post-surgical cardiac and vascular patients
  • 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio with interdisciplinary support from Respiratory, PT, Pharmacy, and Rapid Response Teams
  • Contract duration of 13-26 weeks with 24-hour orientation provided
  • Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; call not required
  • EMR: Epic documentation system with Pyxis medication management
  • Experience with advanced cardiac procedures including CABG, TAVR, Mitral Clip, LAAO, and post-catheterization care
Requirements:
  • Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
  • BLS and ACLS certification required
  • NIHSS certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of cardiac nursing experience required
  • Medical/Surgical, Telemetry, or Step-down experience preferred
  • Proficiency with cardiac monitoring equipment, drip management and titration, sheath removal, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
  • Willingness to float as needed and work holidays as scheduled
  • Must successfully complete EKG testing prior to start date
  • Flexibility to participate in Storm Team/Hurricane Team response during emergency events
  • Up to 7 days of requested time off permitted (no additional RTO after contract signing)

Patient Population:
  • Adults and geriatric patients with diagnoses including Atrial Fibrillation, CHF, ACS, CAD, valve disorders, cardiomyopathy, vascular disease, and post-procedural cardiac patients
  • Post-operative cardiac surgery patients including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, vascular surgeries, and thoracic procedures
  • Patients requiring arterial line management, chest tubes, epicardial pacing wires, and femoral sheath management
Additional Information:
  • Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
  • Pre-start online modules required (approximately 8-10 hours, completed using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge)
  • Professional attire: Navy blue scrub pants with white top
  • 43-room unit with 44-bed capacity and average daily census of 41 patients
