    Contract | 13–26 Week Options Available | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct nursing care to inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions, including sepsis, MI, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease
    • Administer and monitor vasoactive drug infusions, IV antiarrhythmic therapy, thrombolytic therapy, and anticoagulation
    • Perform and interpret cardiac telemetry monitoring, EKG, and non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
    • Assist with or support procedures including defibrillation, cardioversion, and thoracentesis
    • Float to like units or other facilities as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies
    • Complete required pre-assignment modules and maintain annual compliance requirements
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina
    • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
    • Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR
    • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a cardiac stepdown or similar unit
    • Willingness and ability to float to like units or alternate facilities as required
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2 or more years of experience in cardiac stepdown, progressive care, or a related specialty
    • Familiarity with vasoactive drug administration, antiarrhythmic therapy, and thrombolytic therapy in a clinical setting
    • Prior travel nursing experience
