- Scheduling Note: Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
- EMR Experience: Epic experience required
Job Requirements
- Active RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent registered nurse experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Cardiac ICU experience preferred
- MICU experience welcomed
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced cardiac care environment
- Comfortable completing a competency assessment shortly after submission
- Professional, adaptable, and patient-centered approach to nursing care
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients with complex medical needs
- Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and communicate clinical updates promptly
- Administer medications and support treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
- Document accurately in Epic and maintain efficient clinical workflows
- Support safe patient transitions, recovery, and discharge readiness
- Work collaboratively with physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to promote excellent outcomes
- Maintain compliance with unit expectations, including dress code and scheduling requirements
