• Weekly Pay: $2,020 to $2,130 per week

• Setting: Cardiac Stepdown / Intermediate Care / Telemetry

• Orientation: Every other Monday
• Additional Notes: Charge nurse responsibility is required, with training and the appropriate differential provided

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience in acute care, stepdown, telemetry, or intermediate care
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Active Virginia RN license or compact RN license in hand at the start date
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Experience with charge nurse responsibilities preferred
• Cerner experience preferred
• Ability to work at least one major holiday during the assignment
• Strong teamwork, communication, and adaptability in a high-acuity healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, high-quality care to cardiac stepdown and intermediate care patients
• Monitor and assess patients with cardiac, medical-surgical, telemetry, neuro, and CVA-related needs
• Administer medications, maintain IV therapies, and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
• Take on charge nurse responsibilities when assigned and help support unit flow
• Accurately document patient care and clinical observations in the electronic health record
• Contribute to a supportive, team-oriented environment that values learning, professionalism, and clinical excellence
