- Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Shift Duration: 12 hours
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Float Requirement: Float within the organization as needed
- Call Requirement: May be required
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,940 - $2,040
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
- Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
- BLS and ACLS required
- Epic charting experience required
- Experience caring for adult cardiac stepdown, telemetry, progressive care, or mixed-acuity patients preferred
- Education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
- Ability to provide 2 professional references, including at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor
- Flexibility to complete urgent credentialing and fingerprinting requirements
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to adult patients with a range of medical and post-surgical diagnoses
- Monitor telemetry and respond quickly to changes in cardiac rhythm or patient condition
- Administer medications and manage complex IV therapies, including cardiac drips and insulin protocols as appropriate
- Support patients requiring oxygen therapy, BiPAP/CPAP, arterial lines, PICC/central lines, and wound care
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy, IV teams, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other clinical support services
- Float to other units within the organization when needed
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and follow established clinical protocols
- Participate in a team-oriented environment focused on quality patient outcomes and responsive care
