- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 - $1,890
- Unit Size: 12 beds
- Patient Ratio: 1:3
- Schedule Highlights: Every other weekend and every other holiday
- Charting System: Epic experience required
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending license accepted if in hand by the Wednesday before start
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience required
- BSN preferred
- Comfortable caring for adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
- Ability to meet floating expectations within scope of practice
- References required with submission
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown and telemetry patients with complex needs
- Monitor and manage dysrhythmias, cardiac rhythms, and telemetry monitoring
- Support patients receiving cardiac drips, vasoactive drips, and insulin protocols within unit guidelines
- Deliver care for neuro patients, including stroke, hemorrhage, traumatic brain injury, and post-neurosurgical conditions
- Complete skilled assessments, identify changes in condition, and respond quickly to patient needs
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
- Maintain safe, organized, and compassionate patient care across all assigned shifts
- Follow unit standards, float policies, and scheduling expectations
