Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the appropriate state
• Minimum of 1 year of recent nursing experience required
• Experience in cardiac stepdown, progressive care, PCU, IMCU, or a similar acute-care setting preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity, team-based hospital environment
• Comfort supporting a 12-hour day shift schedule

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to cardiac stepdown and progressive care patients
• Monitor patient status, recognize changes, and escalate concerns appropriately
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately and promptly
• Support discharge planning, patient education, and care coordination
