Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for an adult to geriatric population on a cardiac stepdown/overflow IMCU unit with a 1:5–6 patient ratio
• Manage cardiac arrhythmias including stable A-Fib, SVT, and Bradycardia, and perform or assist with cardioversion as needed
• Administer and monitor continuous IV drip medications including cardiac drips, diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin drips
• Care for patients presenting with CHF, chest pain, renal conditions, pulmonary conditions (COPD, pulmonary edema), PE, DVT, DKA, and post-cardiac cath patients including TR Band management
• Support surgical patients (cholecystectomy, appendectomy, chest tubes, biliary drains) and occasional vascular, orthopedic, or CVA overflow patients
• Utilize facility systems including Epic (preferred), Pyxis, and SBAR communication framework

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Experience managing continuous IV drip medications (cardiac drips, diuretics, anticoagulants, and insulin drips) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with TR Band management and broad Med-Surg skill set including basic arrhythmia knowledge

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Background in overflow IMCU or step-down unit settings
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems
