Protouch Staffing is seeking experienced Cardiac PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurses for a travel assignment beginning December 4, 2026, in Fort Myers, FL. Bring your cardiac and progressive care expertise to a specialized 36-bed unit while earning $3,062.76 gross per week on a 48-hour day-shift schedule.

ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,062.76

• Location: Fort Myers, FL

• Contract: 14 Weeks (pending date confirmation)

• Start Date: December 4, 2026

• Schedule: 4x12 Days | 48 Hours/Week

• Specialty: Cardiac PCU / Stepdown

• Unit: 36-Bed Cardiac Medical / Progressive Care

• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5

• On-Call: None

• Floating: Required, including possible assignments at nearby locations

• Charting: Epic

• Holiday Availability: No time off during Christmas week

WEEKLY COMPENSATION

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,062.76

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,515.76

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,547

• Overtime: Subject to applicable law and assignment terms

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience

• Strong cardiac nursing experience

• BLS certification

• ACLS certification

• NIHSS certification

• Epic electronic medical record experience

• Experience caring for cardiac and intermediate-acuity patients

• Ability to manage 1:4-5 patient assignments

• Willingness to float based on staffing needs

• Availability for 48-hour day-shift scheduling

• Availability throughout Christmas week

Clinical Environment:

• 36-bed cardiac medical and progressive care unit

• Cardiac and Stepdown patient populations

• Cardiac monitoring and progressive care assessments

• Collaborative clinical team environment

• Floating based on patient care and staffing needs

Additional Requirements:

• Permanent residence must be outside the 50-mile radius.

• Degree accreditation verification or a minimum of 5 years of experience is required, per assignment criteria.

• All requested time off must be disclosed before submission.
