Protouch Staffing is seeking experienced Cardiopulmonary PCU / Stepdown Registered Nurses for a 13-week travel assignment beginning November 20, 2026. Bring your cardiac and progressive care expertise to a specialized 31-bed unit while earning $3,050.36 gross per week on a 48-hour night-shift schedule.

ASSIGNMENT HIGHLIGHTS

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,050.36

• Location: Fort Myers, FL

• Contract: 13 Weeks

• Start Date: November 20, 2026

• Schedule: 4x12 Nights | 48 Hours/Week

• Shift Duration: 12-Hour Night Shifts

• Specialty: Cardiopulmonary PCU / Stepdown

• Unit: 31-Bed Cardiopulmonary Progressive Care

• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5

• Openings: 5 Positions

• On-Call: None

• Floating: Required, including possible assignments at nearby locations

• Charting: Epic

• Scrubs: Galaxy Blue and/or White

• Holiday Availability: No holiday time off

WEEKLY COMPENSATION

• Gross Weekly Pay: $3,050.36

• Taxable Weekly Pay: $1,503.36

• Non-Taxable Weekly Stipends: $1,547

• Overtime: Listed after 48 hours per week, subject to applicable law and assignment terms

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience

• Strong Cardiopulmonary PCU / Stepdown nursing skills

• BLS certification

• ACLS certification

• NIHSS certification

• Epic electronic medical record experience

• Experience managing cardiac and progressive care patients

• Proficiency with cardiac medication infusions

• Ability to manage patient assignments of 1:4-5

• Willingness to float based on staffing needs

• Availability for 48-hour night-shift scheduling

• Availability throughout the holiday period

Required IV Drip & Medication Experience:

• Heparin

• Amiodarone

• Cardizem

• Dobutamine

• Dopamine

• Insulin

• Lasix

• Antiarrhythmic medications

Clinical Environment:

• 31-bed cardiopulmonary progressive care unit

• Cardiac and respiratory patient populations

• Continuous monitoring and management of cardiac conditions

• Cardiac medication infusions

• Intermediate-acuity patient care

Additional Requirements:

• Permanent residence must be outside the 50-mile radius.

• Degree accreditation verification or a minimum of 5 years of experience is required, per assignment criteria.

• All requested time off must be disclosed before submission.

• Travelers must be comfortable floating and functioning as part of the core clinical team.
