Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Cardiac PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Duluth, Minnesota.

  • Shift Requirements: 12 hour shifts D/N variable - 0700-1930 or 1900-0730
  • Float Requirements: Inpatient units: oncology, neurology, orthopedics, med/surg, IMCU
  • On Call/Call Back Requirements: ?Can be low censused and put on call.
  • Call back minimum is 2 hours
  • Weekend/Holiday Requirements: Two weekends per month and every other holiday
  • Required Certifications: MN RN license, AHA or ARC BLS, AHA or ARC ACLS and NIHSS
  • Education: BSN or Associates Minimum Experience: 2 years of critical care experience.
  • Prefer applicants who have had previous travel experience (1-2 assignments)
  • Desired specific skillset: Previous experience with management of cardiac patients (see examples listed under primary care/procedure types)-
  • Strong telemetry interpretation-Management of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) including NSTEMI/STEMI-Experience with post-cardiac catheterization patients-Care of patient with heart failure (chronic & acute)-
  • Knowledge of cardiac pharmacology (antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, vasoactive medications (see list of specific IV infusion medications under Primary Case/Procedure Types)-
