Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:30) | 36 guaranteed hours for 3x12 schedule or 40 hours for 8/10 schedule | On-call required (approximately 9 shifts per 5-week period)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a short-term acute care, teaching facility
- Perform scrub and circulating roles during cardiac catheterization and related procedures
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Participate in on-call coverage as scheduled, approximately 9 shifts per 5-week period
- Complete required facility modules and annual hands-on competency requirements in a timely manner prior to and during assignment
- Document patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records system
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Active RN license (pending license accepted)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submittal
- NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to start date
- Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine required
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no additions will be accepted after submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
- Experience in Electrophysiology (EP) and Vascular procedures strongly preferred
- Familiarity with EPIC charting system
