    Job Title

    Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Cardiac Observation Unit

    Location

    Tucson, Arizona

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days – 3x12-hour shifts (shift start times vary between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM) | On-call rotation required, including weekends (Saturday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM and Sunday 7:00 AM–2:00 PM), approximately once every four to six weeks

    Key Responsibilities
    • Admit and prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures, including IV placement, access preparation, and completion of pre-procedure checklists
    • Prepare patients for bedside procedures including Cardioversions (CV) and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)
    • Recover post-procedure patients who received conscious sedation following cardiac catheterization
    • Sedate, circulate, and document bedside procedures including CV and TEE
    • Evaluate assigned patients and plan, implement, and document individualized nursing care
    • Discharge patients, including patient education, documentation, and physical discharge coordination
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Arizona RN license or compact state RN license
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current BLS certification
    • Experience working with high-acuity, high-risk cardiac patients
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Background in PACU, ICU, Telemetry, Cath Lab, or Surgery Center settings (considered on a case-by-case basis)
    • Familiarity with cardiac observation workflows including pre- and post-procedure patient management
