Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location
Tamarac, FL | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care within a Cardiac Cath Lab setting, supporting a high-acuity patient population
- Assist with and support cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and peripheral vascular procedures
- Utilize Meditech electronic documentation system for accurate and timely patient charting
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe, efficient procedural workflows
- Manage STEMI cases in accordance with established clinical protocols and time-sensitive standards
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure (or compact eligibility) in the state of Florida
- Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience
- STEMI experience required
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or procedural setting
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Comfort working independently with minimal onboarding support
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
