    Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 4x10-hour shifts | Monday–Friday variable days | Start Time: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Projected Start: September 7, 2026

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform circulating and scrub roles during cardiac catheterization procedures including left and right heart caths and PCIs (Type A, B1, and some B2 lesions)
    • Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic equipment including Impella, IABP, FFR, and IVUS devices
    • Administer and monitor conscious sedation in accordance with RN scope of practice
    • Provide coverage for cardiology patients in non-invasive areas including CT, MRI, and Nuclear Medicine as needed
    • Participate in weekday and weekend call rotations (up to 8 weekday and 6 weekend call days per month)
    • Document accurately using Merge Hemo and Meditech electronic documentation systems
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure
    • Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience
    • Experience with both diagnostic catheterization and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs)
    • Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring and all monitor types
    • Competency in circulating and sedation administration as an RN
    • ARRT or RCIS certification (as applicable to role)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a community hospital or mixed IR and Cath Lab setting
    • Advanced procedural skills in IR, vascular, and specialty procedures
    • Familiarity with GE X-ray equipment and Alaris infusion pumps
    • Experience with advanced devices such as Rotablator, CSI, Shockwave, and Boston Polaris (FFR/IVUS)
