    Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab / EP

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Three 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) with call requirement (one night per week and up to every other weekend)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab environment, supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures including TAVR, Mitraclip, Rotablator, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and Balloon Pump
    • Assist with peripheral vascular procedures and support a STEMI tertiary referral center and Chest Pain center accredited unit
    • Document patient care and procedural data using Cerner EMR and Merge Hemodynamics for Cath Lab documentation
    • Participate in on-call rotation, including one night per week and up to every other weekend coverage
    • Collaborate with CV Techs or Rad Techs with Cath Lab experience across a 3-room lab performing approximately 3,000 cases per year
    • Wear and maintain a radiation badge (supplied by agency) in compliance with radiation safety protocols
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of California
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Prior Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience
    • Ability to complete and pass a required dysrhythmia (DYS) competency exam prior to contract start (two attempts permitted)
    • Minimum of two supervisory references from the submitting modality (at least one within the past 12 months and one within the past 3 years)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with high-acuity interventional procedures including TAVR, Mitraclip, and mechanical circulatory support devices (Impella, Balloon Pump)
    • Familiarity with Merge Hemodynamics documentation platform
    • Experience in a STEMI tertiary referral or Chest Pain accredited center
